  2. "Be a Good Egg" Outreach Event

    July 28, 2019, 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM @ Point Lookout Town Park

Audubon New York is currently seeking volunteers to help run our "Be a Good Egg" program. On weekends during the summer, we set up a booth on the beach to engage with and inform the public about our endangered and threatened beach-nesting bird species. We ask beach-goers to do three simple things: take all of their garbage with them, keep dogs off the nesting beaches, and stay out of the string fenced areas. If you are a passionate individual who cares about the environment and the animals that call it home, this is a great opportunity for you! Please email for more information and registration.
