- Columbus Day
- Election Day
- George Washington's Birthday
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Martin Luther King Day
- Memorial Day
- New Year's Day
- Thanksgiving
- Veteran's Day

The Hempstead Police Department and any other department that provides essential services will remain open.
