Can I enter a plea of not guilty without appearing in the court?
For parking and traffic tickets you may plead not guilty by signing the back of the ticket and forwarding it to the court. You will then be scheduled for a subsequent conference date at which time you will meet with the prosecuting attorney.

Appearance is mandatory for all housing and code of ordinance violations.
