Our 2018 Annual Water Quality Report was recently mailed to all Village residents and businesses. This document is produced and distributed by the Village Water Department each year and provides detailed information about the quality of drinking water in the Village of Hempstead, pursuant to state and federal regulations. On Monday, June 10, the Village will be hosting a Water Plant Town Hall meeting to provide residents with important information concerning our water supply. Topics to be covered include water conservation status, capital projects – underway and planned – lead and copper testing and more. Please join myself, Deputy Mayor Charles Renfroe, Village Trustees LaMont Johnson, Jeffery Daniels and Waylyn Hobbs, Jr.; along with Water Plant Officials and Engineering Firm J.R. Holzmacher P.E., LLC at this informative gathering.
