The Village of Hempstead Mayor Don Ryan attended the Hempstead/Roosevelt AARP Chapter #5234’s Annual Francis X. Leon Scholarship Awards Luncheon held on June 27, 2017. The luncheon was held at Hempstead’s Kennedy Memorial Park.
Four students were honored for their academic achievements with the 2017 scholarship awards and citations from the Mayor. Krystal Ebron, Alexis Murray, Alexis Taylor, and Stephan Vailes were chosen by the AARP Chapter to receive the awards and were presented with awards from the Village of Hempstead.
