- When are the Village Offices Closed?
New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Lincoln's Birthday, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Election Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas. Every year the Village Offices are closed for these twelve holidays (except the Hempstead Police Department and any other department that provides essential services).
