SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY - TO ATTEND SACRED HEART ACADEMY
Sacred Heart Academy, a private, Catholic, all-girls college preparatory high school located in Hempstead, is currently accepting applications from current eighth grade girls for its 2010-2011 Dear Neighbor Scholarship. The Dear Neighbor Scholarship is a four-year scholarship which is awarded annually by Sacred Heart to a young woman from the Hempstead area who displays a desire, along with the academic ability, to succeed and become a contributing member of the Sacred Heart community.
Founded by the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Sacred Heart provides excellence in education for young women, challenging them to become leaders of tomorrow and "women of heart." We invite any eighth grade girl from the Hempstead area to apply for the scholarship.
